This is a character design illustration I did for my final of a character design class. The drawing shows three characters each in a separate form for a boss fight of a video game. The premise is that the magician who worked for the royal family the betrays the kingdom and exiles the prince while he takes over the kingdom. During the prince's exile he enters the forbidden crypt ( which is the background ) where he starts to use dark forbidden magic that was sealed away by the royal family. By the time the prince returns to the kingdom, he already has begun to transform due to the effects of forbidden magic. In order to defeat the prince once and for all, he unleashes the full power of the forbidden magic, which turns him into a skeletal monster.
